Do you have Centre Management experience? Are you ready to step up and take on more responsibility, but not sure how to get there?
At Evolve, our focus is always on looking for the very best talent across our sector - to ensure we are able to provide brilliant early learning experiences for our tamariki and their whanau, along with awesome places for our people to enjoy their work and grow their careers with us. We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Area Manager to support our Auckland Centres.
As an Assistant Area Manager, you will provide support to our Auckland Centre Network - taking a hands-on approach wherever your expertise is required with everything from the achievement of curriculum, teaching and learning, health & safety, quality assurance workshop facilitation, licencing support or leading pieces of work for improvement projects. You will coach, mentor and lead from the front, stepping in where the need is greatest and working closely with your Area Managers to ensure your activity is aligned with the needs of the business.
We are an organisation where your career matters as much to us - with Evolve, you will find significant scope in which to develop yourself both personally and professionally, whilst you make a real difference to our children, our families and our people.
What are we looking for in you?
- You’re a broadly experienced ECE leader, with a thorough understanding of how our sector operates in New Zealand.
- You believe in the value of great partnerships with key sector stakeholders, including MoE and ERO and the critical importance of their review processes and requirements.
- You have the flexibility to travel within the Lower North Island, providing support where it’s needed most.
- You’re curious, a confident communicator, a relationship builder and an influencer.
- You have demonstrated ability to lead, coach and motivate individuals complemented by sound business acumen, decision making and a collaborative working style.
If you’re ready to grow your leadership career further and make an extraordinary difference in the lives of New Zealand’s youngest learners and their families – we’d love to hear from you.
