the role

As a Payroll Associate, you will be completing all payroll tasks and duties to deliver our payroll service in line with the policy, procedures and contractual requirements for Giant Group Plc. You will need to engage with our clients and internal stakeholders to offer a level of customer service with a high level of satisfaction.

Your ultimate objective is to ensure that quality of work is completed to the highest level, with a focus on attention to detail to support the service delivered to our clients. Daily you will be assisting the UK Payroll Administrators in the production of payroll that are compliant with any relevant stakeholder requirements in accordance with the agreed processes and SLA’s.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to (no more than 10 please):

1. Processing daily and weekly payrolls, including calculating pay slips, checking error reports and pay slips, liaising with other departments and clients where needed, reconciling and creating BACS/Swift files.

2. Good communication around progress of LIVE payroll, ensuring key management reports are always up to date in real life.

3. Processing daily advances for all clients

4. Processing RTI submissions to HMRC

5. Processing starters + Leavers

6. Administration of statutory payments

7. Processing Statement of Earnings requests

8. Logging and dealing with all incoming post for all clients

9. Responding to client feedbacks and email queries, ensuring Service Levels Agreements are met

10. Processing weekly and Monthly pension reports and reconciliations.

experience/competencies

Ideally, you will have a business related degree or at least 1 years’ experience of Payroll or Admin related work. You have great enthusiasm and attitude for the role, a high level of resilience and strong written and verbal communication and emotional intelligence. Proficient in Microsoft office Understanding and striving to achieve the giant people values is essential.

For example, there will be the opportunity to develop into a Payroll Specialist, which directly supports the other Payroll Specialists as well as the payroll Supervisor and Manager with checking others work, ensure SLAs are being met and completing Monthly 1-2-1’s.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Rs75,000.00 per month
